Rain...

He kicks the door open and runs fast,
Tears flow when he thinks of his past,
His ship had fallen; without a mast,
His life - a film with a miserable cast.

The sun goes in, the light dims,
With fresh tears his eye brims,
So many hopes so many whims,
All for nothing, just a tear on the chin.

He is tired, he wants to end it all,
Just when the rain starts to fall..
His shoes plod on water,
The rain beats down harder....

He looks up through the trickle,
His tears and the rain mingle,
Rain washed away his tears,
The sky of his head clears...


He brushes his tears aside,
Smiles and takes a stride,
Spreads his arms wide open,
Towards heaven...


All those hopes shattered,
All those tears cried,
Are washed away silently,
When God cries....
