Study-hols wrap up.

*Study hols are so wrongly named. The measure of failure of any plans of study is directly proportional to the amount of seriousness with which you planned to study.

*The above quote was under the influence of the devil's dictionary.

*The one wrong thing you do can undo all the "right"s as if they were a chain reaction of dominos waiting for the trigger.

*Movies are inevitable. They are made to be watched. They won't fulfil their purpose if we don't watch 'em. What's your excuse?

*Lines from a movie I saw recently "The Boondock saints". Read with an irish/scottish accent if you can. ;)

Connor: Now you will receive us.
Murphy: We do not ask for your poor, or your hungry.
Connor: We do not want your tired and sick.
Murphy: It is your corrupt we claim.
Connor: It is your evil that will be sought by us.
Murphy: With every breath we shall hunt them down.
Connor: Each day, we will spill their blood till it rains down from the skies.
Murphy: Do not kill, do not rape, do not steal, these are principles which every man of every faith can embrace.
Connor: These are not polite suggestions, these are codes of behavior and those of you that ignore them will pay the dearest cost.
Murphy: There are varying degrees of evil, we urge you lesser forms of filth not to push the bounds and cross over, into true corruption, into our domain.
Connor: For if you do, one day you will look behind you and you will see we three. And on that day, you will reap it.
Murphy: And we will send you to whatever god you wish.
Connor, Murphy, Il Duce: And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we
shall flow a river forth to Thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be.
Il Duce: In nomine Patri.
Connor: Et Fili.
Murphy: Spiritus Sancti.

*In spite of all this, one really does experience satisfaction after some time spent studying.Yessirree!

*The common cold is eternally in love with my nose. It invited the sneezes' over today.

*Two days back I visited the srirangam temple, after a long long time. I realised that nothing had changed from the everlasting smell of bats which welcomes you, to the long

queues of people waiting outside for darshan even as people pass them in the supposed VIP quota. Even in "God's area" it helps if you know who to please. Sadly.

*Yet another Diwali with no crackers. I still love the sound of them though.

*Ted mosby made it rain for Robin to stay. It is meant to be if you mean it to be as long as the Juice is worth the squeeze.

*See you next semester, same place, same occasion, till then have a great inter-study-hols time.

Oh, wait. Having a laptop fully charged as backup during a blackout, AND waiting for the powercut to begin studying never go together. Period.

Ciao! I'm back when you're not. But this really made me laugh:

"*The common cold is eternally in love with my nose. It invited the sneezes' over today."

Once they begin, they have to finish. That's the only solace. Of course, there's also that wonderful little devil called Anticipation.

;)

Two days ago, I visited the Rameshwaram temple. And I can say the same. :|
I get weird cravings during study holidays.. to cycle, to go for a walk, to go to a temple (!)and the likes. Studying for half an hour after wasting an entire day gives you TOTAL gratification!

It's true, the smell of some things don't change. Thank God (?!) for that. The bats thing really made me laugh though ;)
